I have just installed Slackware 3.0.0 on to my system which already has DOS/Windoze (3.11) and OS/2 (Warp) on it. Linux install proceeded with no major dramas. However, Boot Manager won't boot Linux. It says the partition is not formatted. The Linux install is A-OK as it boots from floppy. I created the Linux partitions from the OS/2 Boot Manager as suggested by the Slackware install program. Boot manager sees the Linux partition as bootable and type 83 so what's the drama. TIA David P.S. When I run 'startx' it fails telling me I need to create a config file. Any help on what should be in the config file or even better how to automatically generate one would also be much appreciated.
