I'd like to know what the statistics are in terms of users ACTUALLY using an OS to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. For the average user, I doubt it's really that high. Given my assumption, this could be one reason why users now still use MS Windows. If a bad app fails, than just reboot the system and bring the app back up. If an app on OS/2 fails, than the user still has to restart the app. Not all users now are technical wizards. The users of say, TRS-80 in general were and understand the benefits of a "good" operating system. (whatever good may be to that particular user). (I'm not stating that the TRS-80 had a great operating system, nowadays a lot of non-technical people use personal computers and these users DON'T know what a "good" operating system can do for them. And I don't expect nor should I expect that all users should know what a "good" OS is and can do). Roger Louie OS/2 for the PowerPC disclaimer: not an official IBM spokesperson. (Just a developer and user). In <rwilken.785042506@hubcap>, rwilken@hubcap.clemson.edu (Robert D.
