This isn't necessary.  Change this setting to 32 will really kill any hope of
responsive multi-tasking.  Most of the time this setting should be set at 1.
The only time you should need to alter it is if you have some DOS app that
complains bitterly, and you aren't too bothered about multi-tasking.
