Hi
I have been having lots of trouble getting past the second disk in the OS/2 2.1
installation set (which is actually called 'install 1' I think).
Talking to IBM Australia, they have said:
turn off all caches.... how exactly does one do this?
turn off shadow RAM .... what exactly is this?
make the PC as 'clean' as possible... ???
Do they want people to use OS/2 or what?
Any ideas would be appreciated. What I want to know are things that I can try to
get this thing going. I have read all the propaganda, and I could die for
real multi-tasking, but maybe one will have to go for Windows NT...
