Hello, I want to upgrade my Asus P2B-D PII-400 system from single to dual CPU. However I purchased my 1st CPU more than 1 year ago, and it has the ID 651 (stepping 1). I read on the intel website, that it is not recommended to use two different cpu steppings is a dual processor system. Since I can now only buy steppings 2 and 3 (652, 653), I may have a problem. Does anyone have any experiences in running a mixed processor stepping, dual processor configuration, with or without the Asus P2B-D board and Windows NT 4.0? Please let me know, Best regards, Robin Stevenhagen Email: Robin.Stevenhagen@wxs.nl
