CROWN (Clustering Resources On Workstation's Network)

CROWN is  the cluster system that consists of pentium machines or
workstations connected with high speed network facility such as Myrinet.
Under this environment, we focus on developing three key technologies,
which are cluster management software, parallel file system, and high
speed communication protocol.


Java technologies for embedded system

1. Java OS for embedded systems This will be  a joint project with Sun
and Chorus system aiming at developing JavaOS for certain embedded
system. Good system programming skills are required. It has not been set
up yet, but it is a good opportunity to start up with a new project.

2. Development of  Java Embedded S/W
In this project, we will develope a set-top-box( a kind of NC) for
WebTV. PersonalJava and RTOS will be utilized. The applicants are
required  to have good understanding or programming skills in operating
systems, Java technology, and/or device drivers.


Salary: 19,000,000 won per year (Currently 1 dollar is approximately 920
won.)
Period: Basically one year but may extend it.
