ACS NSW AISIG - Artificial Intelligence - Monthly Meeting
Date: Wednesday 26th March 1997.
Time: 6:30pm till 8:00pm & dinner afterwards.
Topic: Update on RTA Safe-T-Cam
We last heard about Safe-T-Cam in July 1994 since then this system
has been deployed around NSW monitoring travel times of heavy haulage
trucks with the aim to eliminate dangerous practices. It should be
interesting to see what effect that has had and any impovements put
into the system. Other monitoring systems in the news are exhaust
emissions, electronic tolls, local advisory signs & navigation and
automatic driving.
