Computer Battery Failed

I have a very unusual problem with my computer battery. I purchase this
computer from EPS Technologies in March of 1995. I tried calling
technical support and I can never get through. I leave a voice mail but
I never get a response from them. If and when they do call I'm not home
because I work for a living and cannot be waiting all day for there
call.
The problem started in November 1996 when I got home I turned on my
computer and as it was booting up a message came out saying CMOS Battery
Failed. I then press F-1 and it continues to boot up normally. I decided
to replace the battery with the exact same battery and everything was
back to normal. On January 1997 the exact same thing happened again and
I changed the battery once again. Today is April 13,1997 and the exact
same problem happened again and I don't know what is causing the problem
. Would you happen to know why my battery keeps going within two or
three months when it should last at least a two years or more. Thank You
very much for your time.

Yours Truly: Albert
