              EMERGING TECHNOLOGY FORUM
*********************************************************
The members of this newsgroup are invited to join us at the Emerging
Technology Forum. The objective of the Forum is for technology
executives and planners to meet and share knowledge and expertise on
strategic technology issues in an unhurried atmosphere.

We hosted the Forum in 1993 and 1994 and are reinstating it this year
at the urging of our past participants, including the CTO's and CIO's
of major corporations. These members asked us to provide the Forum as
a platform to interactively explore technology issues, through
discussions, brainstorming and people networking. Presentations and
case studies are from the members themselves.

The Forum meets three times per year, each time in a different American
city, and is organized as a long weekend at an exclusive hotel or
resort. Our upcoming October Forum meeting will kickoff on Friday,
October 25, 1996, and continue through the early part of Saturday,
October 26, at the Sir Francis Drake hotel on Union Square in the heart
of the beautiful City of San Francisco. The focus of this session will
be in the following areas:

- Solving Performance Problems Associated with Client-Server Computing
- How To Rally the Whole Enterprise for a Unified Internet Strategy
- The Future of Enterprise Networking
- Groupware and Intranet Strategies
- The Laws of Electronic Commerce
- Architecture and Implementation of a Knowledge Management System
- Corporate Data Synchronization
- Data Security Architectures

The Forum is interested in participation from innovative corporations.
If you or your associates are involved in strategic technology planning
and would like to learn more about the Forum, please give me a call or
send me an email.
