What's the current going rate in Australia for supercomputer time? Is ANU the only place to do it? Any private vendors? How do rates vary? Minimum job sizes/run times? Are concessional resources available for ?civil/volunteering/community uses? Can anyone submit jobs or do I need permits/license or be associated with an organisation/corporation? Does my job have to be vetted? I'm a licensed amateur radio operator wanting to do some modelling. I'm too inexperienced in Linux to set up my own Beowulf cluster - if I don't understand clusters yet, does that count me out by default? Thanks in Advance, Julian VK1YKP __________________ assume nothing. question everything.
