Anyone got any idea what the following hardware would be worth (in Australia)? These models would have been first released about 1990, and the particular machines have been in use continuously since about 1991. I am not selling these, I just want to know estimates of their value as I may buy some of this gear depending upon the price. Values in other countries would be useful - if so let me know the currency you are quoting in. All machines are Hewlett-Packard 9000 series 1. HP Model 710 40? Mhz PA-RISC processor 64 Mb RAM 400 Mb internal slow narrow SCSI drive Additional empty slot for another SCSI disk 10 Mbps ethernet (coax) - standard 2 serial ports (max 38000? baud) and one parallel port - standard 19" colour monitor (HP A1097D Southern Hemisphere monitor) HP-HIL keyboard and mouse HP-UX 9.03 2. HP Model 715/50 50 Mhz PA-RISC processor 112 Mb RAM 2 x 525 Mb internal slow narrow SCSI drives 10 Mbps ethernet (AUI) - standard 2 serial ports (max 38000 baud) and one parallel port - standard 19" colour monitor (HP A1097D Southern Hemisphere monitor) HP-HIL keyboard and mouse HP-UX 9.03 3. HP expansion tower 7 slots for slow narrow SCSI devices 3 x 1 Gb disks DDS-1 compressed DAT drive (faulty - ejects all tapes) CD-ROM drive (single speed?) SCSI cable and terminator 4. HP expansion tower 7 slots for slow narrow SCSI devices 2 x 1.5 Gb disks DDS-1 uncompressed DAT drive (faulty - ejects all tapes) SCSI cable and terminator 5. HP stand-alone external DDS-1 uncompressed drive (working) SCSI cable and terminator Last question is how much does RAM cost for these machines? I don't think they take any type of standard PC memory. All the disks are HP supplied, either HP branded or SEAGATE or QUANTUM. All equipment is used and is about 7 years old and has seen continuous use. As you can imagine some of the disks are quite noisy. Some of the RAM is not HP supplied but is from Kingston.
