My inexperience with Sun and SPARCstations will show here but I've got 2 machines that do not have a raw partition allocated for swap space. I.e., when I look at /etc/fstab there's no entry with swap in it (in fact there's no b partition in there and no b partition with a df). But when the machine boots it reports swap and dump on sd0b. There's an entry in /etc/rc turning swapon for /tmp (which is on sd0a). But why does the machine report swap and dump on a b partition? Thanks, Pete Fieschko
