Hi,

I need this 'detex' script program/script to do:


sphigs.txt: sphigs.tex 
        cat sphigs.tex > /tmp/sphigs.tex
        /cs/src/srgp/doc/detex < /tmp/sphigs.tex | \
              sed  -e 's/\`\`/\"/g'  -e s/\\\'\\\'/\\\"/g  > sphigs.txt
        /bin/rm /tmp/sphigs.tex


Any ideas greatly appreciated.

ps: with respect to my dvieps problem , yes I should have used dvips; but that 
was broken on my system as I upgraded libc, it's fixed now that I have
a new binary.  Thanks to all you who replied.
