Can anyone provide me with public domain information concerning the
proposed clean-up of the ICI Dulux paint factory site in Sydney?

We are trying to put together an article about the proposed clean-up of
the site but have been threatened with possible legal action by Svedala
Industries if we publish information they released and later withdrew
in a press release and which was also put on a press information Web
site (home page URL http://www.ins.se).

We are uncertain what it is that ICI Dulux and Svedala find so
confidential about the information that was put out in the press
release, given that some of the so-called confidential information
appears to have been published in the US newsletter, Hazardous Waste
Business (February 22, 1995, page 2); the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant
in February 1995 (15th?); and Dutch magazine Land + Water (1&2, 1996,
page 11).

However, we are very, very small and ICI is very big, so any
public domain information would be appreciated *a.s.a.p.*

Many thanks
