Hi, anyone from Melbourne out there?? If you are interested in a relatively easy way to help the environment, please consider becoming a volunteer grower for the Tree Project. This is a scheme where city people grow trees for country landholders to assist with their erosion, salinity and loss of habitat problems. Growers are provided with a kit which gives you everything you need to grow about 250 plants. You can then return your seedlings to the Yarra Bend Park depot or take them to your landholder for a nice weekend in the country. If you think this is a neat idea but can't help yourself, please suggest it to someone else who might help. If you are interested, please call Peta at the TreeProject on (03) 9650 9477. Paula
