Postgraduate Scholarship in studies related to Environmental Engineering:

Applications are invited for a postgraduate scholarship leading to a PhD degree 
in chemical engineering.  Applicants should have a bachelor�s degree in 
chemical, civil or mechanical engineering with honours, or equivalent qual
ifications.  The research area includes the study of aerosol velocity field in 
a turbulent media using digital particle image velocimetry, the measurement of 
mass transfer in  multiphase  media.  The research has implications in 
elucidating large scale pollutant dispersion and design of industrial mass 
exchangers.

 The scholarship is valued at (APA rate + attractive supplementary 
remunerations), with relocation, thesis and conference travel
allowances.  A well-qualified candidate would be considered for
teaching assistantship.  The expected starting date is February 26,
1996.
