The Queensland Opposition says problems with the Federal Government's insulation 
and solar rebate schemes have flowed into the state arena.

The Liberal National Party's Fair Trading Spokesman Ray Stevens says Queensland 
was told last April about shonky insulation installers.

"Officials were warned about the Federal Government's insulation scheme," he said.

He says Fair Trading Minister Peter Lawlor should have heeded the warning, but 
Mr Lawlor says it is a federal scheme.

The Opposition's Energy Spokesman Jeff Seeney says employment and installation 
targets from the state solar hot water scheme are in tatters.

"When the Premier announced her election commitment of $200,000 for solar hot 
water systems she promised it would create 500 jobs," he said.

Treasurer Andrew Fraser says federal changes have caused problems.

"This Government remains committed to its election commitment on delivering a 
solar hot water program," he said.

Mr Fraser says the State is working through the issues.
