My .cf checks for the failure of the DNS lookup and drops it into MHSnet
if it's an oz.au address.  If it's a bad address, it soon gets bounced
out of MHS/ACSnet.  The other option is to send it to munnari if it
fails the DNS lookup but I'm sure kre would prefer you handle it
yourself.
