*snipped in the interest of global bandwidth* Jason Haines wrote in message ... >Grow up Gary - just because you've been exposed as just a marketer of >another company's internet services rather than a real ISP, it doesn't >mean you need to keep up the childish crap. This bit makes me laugh...have I ever denied the fact that I am providing virtual services? Have you ever gotten your little head out of your rectum for long enough to learn what this part of the Industry is about. Have you ever gotten your little head out of your rectum for long enough to learn anything...? This 'other company' you refer to have now ceased and sold out their retail arm and are now a truly wholesale provider concentrating their efforts on maintaining the best network possible. By all accounts, and the feedback we receive online and offline, this is exactly what they are doing. Whilst us 'virtual' ISP's can concentrate on providing the customer support we are now known for. Do a little homework Jason. >Have you realized that you're not a very good advertisement for your >'virtual' ISP service?. Have you "realised" you are rather illiterate? EDIT Group is its own 'very good advertisement'. Would you like to read some of our testimonials, which are actually written by our Users, and not one of our staff who has a bit of time on their hands. >Give it a rest Gary - the bulk of your comments are just cheap shots, >which tell people in this and other newsgroups you populate that you >are an idiot looking to flog 'virtual' internet services. You'd be >better served devoting your time to re-designing your crappy website. You got me here. Our current website was done by none other than yours truly..and I am far from a html guru. The new and smarter looking Web Site is just about finished being tested, so be sure to check back soon (I really had no idea you cared so much...). I don't know about 'flogging' virtual services though...we rather like to 'promote' them. At least EDIT Group lets its Users know they are not dialing into a bank of modems on OUR premises, but that we are here to market and provide the quality service they are used to. As I have said a million times, the percentage of people who have no idea what provider they are dialing into is very high. Alot of virtuals don't disclose that they are vitual if they can help it...we rather think it is something we can use in our marketting. Being part of a consolidated 'group' such as the network we belong to has far better advantages than running on a shoestring of bandwidth (need I mention THOSE providers again) and providing a crappy service for the few months these little people survive. Once again Jason, wake up and smell the roses...it's happening all around you...but ignorance seems to be your bliss. >Have you considered that your ninth-rate newsreader may be the problem? No....not at all. Your postings look like crap through any reader I try....lol. And it's not just the layout that is the problem...it's the content. I must say...since our correspondence has become a little more detailed and technical..your grasp on the whole situation is slipping. Whether this is due to your own level of intelligence or your trait of denial, I do not know. But you have dropped from being a capable adversary on specific matters to a little person in a matchbox who yells the same answer with different cliches each time. Very boring. And to anyone who may be following this little saga, feel free to contact me should your understanding of virtual internet service providers need some clarification. It is not merely a 'sales' game as Jason can only comprehend it to be...it's a 'service' game, and our Users are provided the best free technical and general support they have ever experienced. No 1900 number-$2/minute schemes with us.
