EFnet server - do any work with mIRC?

Can anyone in Australia connect successfully to EFnet using mIRC? If so
please tell me which server you used because I cannot find one that will let
me connect. I try to connect to the only listed AU server and I get "Unable
to resolve IRC server". All the overseas ones refuse my connection.

If Telstra didn't turn off their efnet server we wouldn't have this
problem.

They had to shut it down after a massive DoS attack, something like 65
megabytes/sec over a 7 hour period...
