G'day folks, You may have seen my previous posting with my "experiences" regarding DNS management and MelbourneIT. Over the last week, a series of messages have passwd between Andrew Heath (MelbourneIT) and myself. Basically, AUNIC had registered the domain we originally requested (but have never used) even though they originally rejected the domain name. Our ISP had no entry for it in their DNS setup either. MelbourneIT were helpful in getting this mess sorted out. Any opinions expressed are purely those of the author and may not reflect those of the Fremantle Port Authority. Specifically, this message neither condones nor condemns MelbourneIT's taking over management of the .COM.au domain name registry.
