Each week hundreds of thousands of new domain names are being registered, as businesses across the globe seek to lay claim to their logical business names. Read our weekly report on the latest domain name developments and the significant names registered in Australia in the last week. http://www.top100.com.au/analysis/domain-12-01.shtml _______________________________________ 2 - The Fastest-Moving Sites On The Net Each week at Top 100, we track those sites which have risen the most number of places in our rankings - the sites which have experienced the greatest surge in traffic in the last week. These sites are the cream of the new crop and have found the secret to generating web traffic. Check out the latest list of sites "with a bullet" at http://www.top100.com.au/analysis/movers-12-01.shtml _______________________________________ 3 - The Entertainment Report Our weekly Top 10 report on entertainment-related sites for key entertainment areas such as Books, Radio, Television and Film also includes the Top 10 Box Office Movies in Australia and Top 10 Video Rentals in Australia for the last week and can be found at http://www.top100.com.au/analysis/entertainment.shtml _______________________________________ 4 - Latest Top 100 Developments In the near future we will be launching the world's first broad-based ranking system based on popularity and available at low cost to all web site owners. We are currently finalising our data pool with participating ISPs and applying appropriate weightings to ensure the data is representative of the Australian Internet user population. Our new system will rank sites based on "page impressions" rather than "hits" - a far more accurate measurement currency and true indicator of website popularity. _______________________________________ 5 - About This Newsletter This newsletter is provided as a free public service. _______________________________________ 6 - Thanks to our beta testers Many thanks to all the beta testers who have participated in various aspects of our beta development for your assistance, opinions and valuable (and complimentary feedback). The response has been overwhelming. Your contribution to the evolution of our product is greatly appreciated, and from time to time, exclusive information privileges will be extended to you. _______________________________________ Brought to you by the team at www.top100.com.au Copyright Sinewave Interactive, 1999 .
