Telecom have advised us that the ISDN Microlink service that connects
WA to the rest of AARNet via Melbourne through parallel 64K links, will
be down for 15 minutes sometime between 5 and 8 am (WA time) on
Saturday, 16th January 1993.

This is to upgrade the software in the BMUX at the local exchange that
provides this ISDN service (to release *11*), so hopefully it will be a
little more reliable than it has been of late. The Telecom contact
person is Trent O'Callaghan - 09 491 4705.
