I have a copy of office 2000 on my computer and I just bought a new system.
The old puter was running win98 the new one has XP.
Is it possible to copy my office software to the new computer if I no
longer have the original disc? I tried just copying the folder but that does
not work as it needs to be installed on the new puter.
I know there are systems in place to prevent software piracy but since I
cannot find my original disc I am reluctant to fork out a fortune for a new
copy.
