effectively been banned by the Australian Government. 

The book is an all new sequel to the controversial best-seller 
Smuggled-The Underground Trade in Australia's Wildlife by Raymond Hoser.

Australian Wildlife departments, Police forces, politicians, magistrates

whistleblowers, including those within their own departments.  Phone 
tapping, burglaries, armed raids and other strong-arm tactics are so 
common as to be effectively routine.  

Smuggled-2 shows how wildlife bureaucrats are allowing Australia's 
reptiles, birds and other fauna to be raped and pillaged and how more and 
more species are being driven to the brink of extinction as a result of 
illegal activities, bureaucratic mismanagement, inertia and indifference. 
 Human rights abuses are also routine and will shock most reasonable 
people. The book exposes scandals that media units of these government 
departments have spent millions of taxpayer's dollars trying to cover up.

into not distributing the book to shops, while several newspapers and TV 
outlets have been effectively bludgeoned into not reporting some of the 
material within the book.  In spite of all this, advance publicity for 
the book resulted in over 1,000 prepublication sales.  Booksellers here 
are outraged at this illegal censorship going on, but are powerless to 
act.  Most remain silent however for fear of further threats and 
intimidation - threats that can and will be carried out if neccessary

Smuggled-2's predecessor had over 100 reviews - all were favourable. Two 
so-called reviews that were critical of Smuggled were later retracted 
after it was shown they contained false and defamatory statements and had 
been written on behalf of the N.P.W.S. in what turned out to be failed 
attempts to discredit the book. Smuggled-2 is mandatory reading for those 
concerned about organized crime or wildlife and wildlife keeping in 
Australia and the United States.
