(Follow-up to recent posting in aus.radio.amateur.misc) Does anyone know fi there is still anyone alive at the wheel of uhfworld.com? Seems as dead as Michael Jackson (not Elvis, he's around somewhere). A mate has been waiting a looong time for a response from the webmaster. Nothing happening on that front. Or does anyone here have access to the uhfworld "resources" section? The mate did, but it doesn't work for him currently.

From that site The repeaters are also allowed to be more powerful than just a standard CB, because the purpose of the repeater is to extend communicaion range. My understanding is that CB repeaters are limited to 5 watts transmitter power and 8 watts ERP. The greater range is achieved by having the antenna high.

Judging by the response here, I'd have to assume it is dead.
