I went to Toms on Thursday afternoon after work. When I entered the store I said hello to the person behind the counter. He looked at me, then looked down again. All I needed was some styrene. When I found the sheets, there were only 3 thicknesses, none of these were sizes I wanted. When I went back to ask questions, the person was not there. I looked around several times and when I saw him and tried to get his attention, there was no response. At that point, I decided to leave. Politely I said goodbye on my exit, and again, no response. - I can now see why such a hobby shop with a great range of stock is closed at 5pm on late night shopping day! > Berg's Hobbies at Parramatta. This was my next stop. When I walked in the door, the proprietor was having a conversation with a customer. He excused himself from the customer and greeted me! I found the styrene sheets (in all sizes ranging in .005 increments), and went back to the counter. Again, he excused himself from his conversation and served me promptly. I had need to go back on Saturday and recieved the same customer service experience. Parramatta might be a dog of a place to park/travel to, but worth the service. regards, Tony.
