What do you mean - costly to access and research? SRA Archives used to charge for a Reader's Ticket ... State Records does not charge at all. Anyhow, you will probably find a lot more useful information within the ARHS/NSW Railway Resource Centre. If you are a member of the ARHS/NSW or NSW RTM, there is no fee for a reader's ticket, and the location is far easier to reach - near Redfern station rather than a week's hike from Kingswood! Hunslet
