G'day all :-) The latest Eureka Models update is now available. For the benefit of non-Australian readers, Eureka Models produces high quality models of New South Wales Railways prototypes in HO. The big (though hardly secret ;-) news, of course, is that Eureka's 3rd release will be the NSWGR C38 class pacific, in both streamlined and non-streamlined form, in black or green, "pristine" or weathered and with optional Sound. Details of the new model are available on the new 38 page. The latest Eureka Times is finally up, as are all the "lost" back issues. The 620 has slipped a bit (as expected) and is now due in July, though the Garratt appears to be still on track for October delivery. James McInerney Eureka webmaster: http://eureka.m.bigpondhosting.com/ My G gauge garden homage to the now long gone railways of Tasmania's west coast, the "Rurr Valley Railway" http://www.cia.com.au/bullack/rvrtitle.html also http://www.cia.com.au/bullack/ , where the steam era NSWGR secondary lines live on in HO at bucolic "Lambing Flat" and http://members.optusnet.com.au/lambingflat/ for the family stuff!

Does it really? Thats very questionable as they are yet to put a model on the shelf. Nor do they produce them, they are in fact produced in China, under contract to Eureka Models to my understanding. I seriously doubt Ron's back shed is large enough to go into production of HO scale models. > > The big (though hardly secret ;-) news, of course, is that Eureka's 3rd > release will be the NSWGR C38 class pacific, in both streamlined and > non-streamlined form, in black or green, "pristine" or weathered and > with optional Sound. Details of the new model are available on the new > 38 page. And heres a prediction. Following the 38 will be the 59 or the 32. I base this on the following series of events: I bought a couple of Lloyds 60 class kits and what happens, Eureka annouce they are going to open with a ready to run 60 class. Just before Christmas 2004 I received 2 x 38 class kits from Lloyds and now Eureka are going to do a RTR 38 class. Now having just received my Lloyds 59 and 32 I reckon I'm odds on on the law of averages that Eureka's next model will either a 59 or 32 class Lucky I'm not a comspiracy theorist, otherwise I may think someone was bugging my phone. > > The latest Eureka Times is finally up, as are all the "lost" back issues. > > The 620 has slipped a bit (as expected) and is now due in July, though > the Garratt appears to be still on track for October delivery. > > > James McInerney > Eureka webmaster: http://eureka.m.bigpondhosting.com/ > > My G gauge garden homage to the now long gone railways of Tasmania's > west coast, the "Rurr Valley Railway" > http://www.cia.com.au/bullack/rvrtitle.html > > also http://www.cia.com.au/bullack/ , where the steam era NSWGR > secondary lines live on in HO at bucolic "Lambing Flat" > > and http://members.optusnet.com.au/lambingflat/ for the family stuff!
