'warning level' on Railpage - what a crock!

I never thought I'd see something like this...

I have just logged into RailPage and there is a PM waiting which is
telling me I now have a 'warning level' of 5 percent for starting another
thread on an already-locked topic (the screw-coupler thread). Come on guys
- that's so lame!

Stop locking topics on sensitive issues and let free and open discussion
take place for a change... Warning people off talking about particular
topics when they're safety-related and in the public interest is a very
BAD way to try and gain credibility in the eyes of rail enthusiasts and
the rail industry in general.

Regards,

Craig.

Lol no. I posted a message about a brass model that I've got for sale
earlier today and that thread hasn't been locked yet! 8-)

Well the 'automated' private message was from his user ID, so I presume so.
Not that I really care - if RailPage admins want to bully people into not
talking about sensitive topics that's fine, but a lot of people will ignore
warnings about not talking about certain topics and talk about them anyway
(just like we are doing now).

You know what the funny thing is that David B re-opened the discussion
on that topic. So with that being said will Shaks have the balls to
issue David B a 100% warning level?

If nothing else it shows that the forum admins don't have a clue how to run
a proper public-domain forum site. 8-)
