I wonder if some Australian students/graduates (preferrably MSc in
Engineering/Biology/Chemistry) might be interested in working in Germany
for some time.

The Institute of Environmental Process Engineering in Bremen has several
new projects starting in spring 2001 and there are positions yet to
fill.

Possible project topics are
- biological treatment of waste water containing heavy metals
- ways of reducing sluge volume from waste water treatment

Conditions:
- Payment accoring to German standards (full time research assistant)
- German language knowledge (or willingness to learn)
  (though almost everyone speaks English here...)
- Accquiring PhD degree possible
- Great teamwork
- Project duration: 2-4 years
