I am an English OAC student attending Westview Secondary School, in Toronto, Ontario. I am doing my ILP on how students in the 90's feel about Shakespeare's work. One question that I have heard students often ask is "Why Shakespeare?". This is one of the main questions I would like to answer in my essay. I would like to know how you feel about Shakespeare by kindly answering the following questions: 1. How do you feel about having to read Shakespeare's work, knowing that his works are over 400 years old? 2. Should students in the future continue to read Shakespeare's work or should they be eliminated from the English courses? 3. Does Shakespeare's work make any sense to you? 4. What are the positive and negative things you can say about Shakespeare's work? 5. How would you describe Shakespeare's language? 6. How do books portray Shakespeare's work? 7. Does Shakespeare's work reflect the society in which we live in today? 8. Has Shakespeare's work changed the world?
