We had one of our suns fail (on friday 5pm, of course :-) with an unknown error. When it attempts to self test it just sits there with the testing message on the screen and flashes the light one then seven times, and then repeats the one then seven flashing sequence. If the meaning of the failures were in the manual I'd've looked them up, but the manual kindly excludes this information, instead requesting you contact sun. Does anybody know what these flashes mean? The system is an IPC with only the internal disk, and 24MB of memory, running SunOS 4.1.2 Thanks, Rex -- Rex di Bona (rex@cs.su.oz.au) Penguin Lust is NOT immoral
