Does anyone know how to get super/subscripts in text mode in LaTex? At the moment I change to maths mode to get sub/superscripts and then change back to text mode. Thanks in advance -- Sanjay (strike!) Have you tried \raise\hbox{....} and \lower\hbox{ ...
or some such? Look at the definition of the \TeX macro in the TeXbook.
