Dear Readers

I want to use the PC version of TEX ( DOSTEX ) but do not have any expereince
at all with using TEX.
I would like to know if you coul;drefer me to a book or relavent matterial so
that I may be able to start using TEX.

Salam Doostan

I saw a while back a number of people were discussing buy or selling
treditional Iranian musical instruments such as KAMANCHEH, SETAR etc. and also
a number of postings were concerned with the nature of PEARSIAN music as
compared to western music etc.

So as I know there are a number of people with great expereince in music in
this group I would like to ask a few questions related to PERSIAN music:

1) I do not have any knowledge of music at all. I would like to know if it is
possible for me to learn the KAMANCHEH, How difficult is it etc.

2) Is there texts available for this ?

3) Is there texts available for PERSIAN MUSIC ?

4) Is it possible to obtain the instrument itself outside IRAN ?

I would be greatfull if some one could assist me with these questions.
