This morning on the Radio 3AW Gardening show a caller told the guest
Vasili (sp) that they could not get Vasili's Garden because they could not
receive C31. Vasili said that it would soon be available on digital.
I could not tell if it is only waiting for an official announcement by C31
or the irrelevant minister or if there are yet more meetings and delays
before it is decided, and announced, just what is going on.
I checked at C31 website but no info update re digital roll-out progress
that I could see.
Poor, scant info admittedly, but still better, or at least more recent,
than what is available from either C31 or the government.

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,,25324582-7582,00.html Hopes are rising in the community TV sector that May's federal budget will at last see funds allocated to help the stations go digital, and a timetable set. With the other networks already simulcasting, they alone remain marooned on the analog signal, while more and more of their viewers switch to digital technology. People in the sector point to comments made by federal Communications Minister Stephen Conroy at this month's press conference to launch the Government's campaign to get Australia ready for digital TV. Asked about community stations, Senator Conroy replied: "We don't want them to close because of a lack of willingness to transition them into the digital world. We're not going to leave them behind."
