According to e-mail I just received, it looks like Randal Schwartz is

The contact info that I have for Cactus is at the UT Computer Science
Lecture Hall @ 24th & Speedway (SE end of Bldg). 6:30 p.m. social; 7:00

Hi David,
I thought you might want to publicize this a little within the EFF-Austin ranks.
This could be a very dangerous precedent for any consultant, especially
system administrators. The basics are: Randall Schwartz was hired by Intel
to administer Unix systems, in the course of his job duties, he ran the 'crack'
program which looks for weak passwords, standard procedure on any big network.
He found some, next thing, Intel had all his systems confiscated, after 3 months, they
find nothing, still they press felony charges against him. He was convicted in a Oregon
court by elected judges in a locale where Intel is king.
