Randal is entitled to a presumption of innocence, I suppose, but I have knowledge that he has broken into at least one system previously and was given a serious reprimand about it. Certainly he can't be unaware that Intel would probably be very unhappy about it if he were discovered... My own take on this is that the kindest interpretation is that Randal acted foolishly. It is certainly very possible that he was in fact engaged in illegal activities. I'd have to see the charges and evidence. -lar Lar Kaufman co-author, "If, at his decease, he escaped Hell, Concord, MA USA _Running Linux_ then moral theology is as full of false 1-508-371-1563 alarms as secular law." - H.L.
