There is no public forum o to discuss the Chapters Conference. There is a
mailing list that links officially-invited-groups and tindividuals from areas
who are interested in forming groups. Decisions about the conference are
made by a steering committee, composed of members of EFF-National,
these!groups (San Francisco), NTE (New York), and EFF-Austin. Jon Lebkowsky
is our representative on the steering committee.

EFF-Austin is not sponsoring the Chapters Conference. We were invited to
participate. If you have a complaint about the way the Chapters Conference
is being handled, then I suggest that you contact Cliff Figallo (fig@eff.org),
who is closer to being "the guy in charge" than anyone else. He will be
able to answer your questions and concerns better than anyone of us here at
EFF-Austin.

I don't believe that I've met you, Werner. Are you a member of EFF-Austin?
Either way, it's unimportant, but I just realized that you could also ask
questions about the Chapters Conference (and EFF-Austin) at the Cyberdawg
next Sunday at Europa books. That is another option you have.

Thanks.
