I've been notified there was a DSL speed lawsuit that involves me. I've been documenting my speeds here in A.I and with AT&T's customer service department for the last year. But after 13 hours of my own time on the phone listening to all their non-promises and their excuses for non-compliance of their TOS they say I'm only entitled to $2/month credit after the tort lawyers take the other 80% of over $80 million. Did I do something wrong? Is is still within my rights as a US citizen to be pissed off? (is that still legal?) Does anybody else want to invest in a J.S. Plane? -Jerry Sauk

Sure, tort reform could limit the lawyer fees to 10% in all class action suits, but that would benefit "big business" so libtards and lawyers are against it. Mike Smith

Do you remember the original one that opened up the floodgates of Legally Fucking Your Client? The Ninetendo class action suit, where they got away with giving everyone they fucked a coupon good for "$5.00 off your next purchase of a nintendo game cartridge"!!!!??? The lawyers got filthy rich, and the law made Nintendo do some perfect marketing and increase sales as a result of their "loss of suit". After that it was open season on the middle class of America...about the same time the democrats took over congress and the senate. Go figure the odds of that coincidence! The only way is to go to small claims court or hire a lawyer and if your cause is just and right, win, and you can get triple damages and get them to pay for YOUR lawyer. Don't worry, they'll settle for between $15,000 and $70,000 before you go to trial...they all do. I dated a legal secretary and I've studied the law and the inside information is that this about what you can expect, but you have to wait it out for a few years, usually 3-5. -- A fine is a tax for doing wrong A tax is a fine for doing well
