No idea.  I used to have a packard Bell 386sx with a lot of stuff on board. 
Supposedly if you inserted a card in the slot the MB was supposed to
automatically disable the onboard and use the newly inserted one.  Didn't work
for an IDE controller though.  Good Luck.
