LANDOVER, MD February 4, 1997 (MMG) The fictitious
Shangri-La represents something different for everyone. It follows,
then, that the Shangri~La on the Web would offer many resources
for all its members. Shangri~La, found on the Web at
http://www.professionals.com/~shang, is a web site that is a
combination bulletin board service, download file archive, gamesters
paradise, and PC retailer.

For a two week free trial membership, visitors can enjoy all the
benefits
Shangri~La has to offer. Beyond that time frame, visitors can choose to
become members (for as little as one dollar each month) or remain with
a free membership and limited access.

The web site is constantly growing, but currently offers the latest
releases
in games and other files to download, more than 100,000 titles total. As
many as 32 CD-ROMs are available with 16 on-line at all times, rotating
daily. Off-line requests are taken as well.

Perhaps the best value for a membership might come through savings
when purchasing a new PC or accessories. Members can request
quotes on the price for a custom-built PC. The web site offers PCs to
be built per customers needs. "For our members, we offer these dream
machines at rock-bottom prices," says Anthony Petitti of Shangri~La
Productions.

The company is an authorized Maryland State computer products retailer.
"We have over 6,500 computer systems, hardware, and software items
at rock bottom prices," says Petitti. "You may also fill out a quote
form
questionnaire online and we will have a quote for you within 24 hours."
