I have recently purchased a turbo express high speed serial card for use with my 3com impact iq isdn. I went from the typical 115,200 baud readout on connect speed to this 230,400 read out on connect speed. Now obviously I can only max at 128k so what does this mean? A friend suggested this was some type of max speed for compressed data transfer. If thats the case what type of data would that be? I noticed a slight increase in ping times to areas on the net I frequent so I believe it was a solid investment for someone wanting as fast a connect as possible. (adsl and cable are not available in my area yet) Any thoughts or answers on this matter would be appreciated. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
