This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_01BCE52C.205CB6C0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Who can help me? I have connected an external AV-drive to my computer, for video editing. Its a Seagate Barracuda 9GB SCSI-drive. My computer sees this drive as D, but when I click D with my mouse Windows95 shows the following message: 'A device connected to the system doesn't work'. Windows95 doesn't want to use my drive! I tried formatting the drive: first I created an extended DOS partition using Fdisk and next I tried creating a logical drive. Here's the problem: Fdisk creates no less than 6 logical drives on my 9GB disk! I want only 1! How can I achieve this? I can use my 'SCSI-select-utility' when I start-up my computer. With this utility I can choose my drive and format it. That takes about two hours (sounds hopeful) but when he is done, Windows95 still doesn't want to use my disk (same error-message). What can I do? Who can help me? All I want is to use my disk as one 9 GB AV disk under Windows 95, and not as 6 smaller disks.
