              =8D Tuesday Night Ratings =8D

On Monday evening World Championship Wrestling set
ratings records w=
ith
their edition og Monday Nitro. Those records, however,
were set with no t=
hreat
of competition. Their usual competition on Monday
nights, the WWF, was pr=
e-
empted for an original movie miniseries.

The World Wrestling Federation moved their Monday
product to Tuesday=
 for
this week thus guarenteeing them an open field when it
comes to the ratin=
gs.
Could the WWF match numbers with their adversary? Let's
take a look.

     2 Hour Composite: 4.4
     Hour 1 from 9:00 to 9:59: 4.2
     Hour 2 from 10:00-10:59: 4.4

                 =8D Headline Stories =8D

Eric Bischoff Goes "Off The Record"

Tonight the TSN program "Off The Record" televised
the interview wit=
h
President of Turner owned World Championship Wrestling
Eric Bischoff. The
interview has originally taken place 2 weeks ago and
held off until today=
 to
be shown. Eric Bischoff appeared on the program almost
a month after the
appearence of World Wrestling federation head Vince
McMahon, Jr.. Thanks =
to
the Seeker.

M =3D Michael Landsberg - E =3D Eric Bischoff

M: When it comes to creating a wrestler, Vince is a
genious.
E: I think you are wrong, Vince takes credit, Scott
Hall thought of Razor=
,
Vince wanted a GI Joe Class.

M: Doesn't Vince have alot though?
E: Vince has done alot but, I saw the transcript, and
we are way ahead of=
 the
WWF in any category...

M: You are kicked butt, but with Butts Vince Created?
E: Who?

M: Hogan, Savage, Nash...
E: Hogan was big before Vince, making huge money before
Vince... Randy
Savage... same thing, Kevin Nash, Vince gave him the
oppurtunity... and t=
hey
had the talent...

M: Steve Austin
E: If all the guys WCW has were in the WWF, Steve
Austin, he would be the=
 guy
in the mid-card... he has more of a platform... he is
doing a good job, b=
ut
there is lack of talent...

M: Stunning Steve Austin In WCW?
E: Yeah and he held various titles.... but he was
injured alot, and not w=
orth
it... to us anymore

M: Is Vince as big as he thinks he is?
E: Not at all...His problem is his Ego! He is losing to
WCW, and he tries=
 to
make it bug by saying he is losing to Turner...

M: Ever try to get a job at the WWF?
E: Yeah, June of 90?

M: Was he wrong about you?
E: No I wasn't that great then...
E: I do the Monday Night on Camera thing because it
gets my minds off
things...

M: Who formed the nWo?
E: My Idea.... I thought of it 8 months earlier...

M: Was Luger supposed to be the leader of the nWo?
E: He was going to be, and 4 days before.. it was going
to be Sting! He w=
as in
Hollywood, and it was a chance to change him...

M: Is Hogan not jobbing?
E: Ridiculous... he cares about it more then most
people I know...that is
false...

M: Why is Hart not in the NWO?
E: Hart does not have the personality for the nWo...

M: What are you going to do with Bret?
E: I don't know yet... I know what, just not when...

M: Gonna play the Canadian Angle?
E: No, didn't work over there.... Or Bret would still
be there...

E-mail: Is Hogan too old?
E: Not at all, he is still the most recognised, and
draws the most cash!

M: If Bret had the belt... would you bring the belt on
WCW?
E: No... we wouldn't use it... He has too much respect

M: Where you always interested in Bret?
E: Not until last year...

M: How much longer can the nWo last?
E: I don't think it will ever go, I look at it as an
angle, I look at is=20
as another fed...

M: What did you not like about Vince on OTR?
E: He lied all through the show....

Jeff Jarrett: Overrated
Marc Mero: Good Guy Frustrated
Undertaker: Don't know him, good character
Arn: Heck of a guy... glad to work with him!
Turner: Real happy to work with him!

               DDP Appears on "MTV Live"

Tonight Diamond Dallas Page was a guest on MTV
Live. When asked how h=
e got
his start in wrestling, DDP stated that around 8 years
old he knew he wan=
ted
to become a wrestler and went on to say he works
sometimes 24 out of 30 d=
ays.
Between PR, pay per views, in ring activities. Talked
about how Nitro is =
the
top rated cable show and also talked about Thunder.

They then went on to discuss the Stuck Mojo video
in which DDP, Raven=
 and
his Flock appear. Page stated that he thought they were
the hardest worki=
ng
band around. They went from town to town selling
several hundred thousand
albums. DDP said he was late for the video so Raven
stepped in and when t=
he
Flock started with the band he turned it up a notch,
all while the video =
was
being played.

Clips were then shown of Raven -vs- DDP from
Thursday Thunder. He sa=
id
face-to- face Raven isn't all that but when he has his
Flock. Raven then
appeared on the television, suposedly in the next
studio, and went on wit=
h his
"What about me" schtick. Clips of the "Triple Jeopardy"
match with DDP, R=
aven
and Chris Benoit from Uncensored were shown.

Reven appeared again on the television yet again
and said that Diamo=
nd
Dallas Page ripped him off of his US title and now he
will rip DDP off. R=
aven,
who wasn't in another studio, then came up from behind
DDP and struck him=
 in
the head with a stop sign. He then placed the US title
on a coffee table =
and
delivered the "Evenflo" DDT on DDT thru the table.
Raven grabbed the US t=
itle
and walked out of the studio with it.

                    THE 450 SPLASH
    by Thomas M. Robson (E-mail: PWH TMRob@aol.com)

After a long hiatus, it is time for the return of the
450! I actually di=
dn't
want to write this column any more, but Kev begged me
to come back. I kn=
ow
that you all missed seeing your HERO write week after
week. Well, as usu=
al
you don't deserve the pleasure of reading my words, but
I will try once a=
gain
to enlighten you.

The one thing on my mind this week is the same thing
that is on everyone'=
s
mind, WrestleMania. However, my attention has not yet
turned to the matc=
hes
we are scheduled to see. I have been far more
concerned with the frighte=
ning
change in direction the WWF has taken with this year's
event. No, I am n=
ot
referring to the new "Attitude" of the Federation, but
rather the return =
of
the WrestleMania celebrities.

Since WrestleMania first began back in 1985, I can only
think of two
celebrities who in any way enhanced the show. The
first is "Mr. Baseball=
"
himself, Bob Eucker, who appeared at WrestleManias III
and IV. The secon=
d is
Nicholas Turturro, who was at WrestleMania XII.
 Usually, WrestleMania
celebrities have seemed bored out of their minds
(Remember Pamela Anderso=
n?),
but these two actually seemed enthused about being in
attendance.

WrestleManias XIII and XIV finally saw the obnoxious
personalities banish=
ed
from the ringside area, and the return of the emphasis
on WRESTLING. Cal=
l me
old-fashioned, but when I order a wrestling
pay-per-view, I want to see
WRESTLERS, not B-rate celebrities.

All of which leads me to this year's tripe. All I will
say about Mike Ty=
son
is that he is a convicted rapist and should not be
allowed to be a free m=
an,
let alone making $3.5 million to just stand at ringside
and do probably v=
ery
little. But, YOU fans demanded it, so the "Baddest Man
on the Planet" wi=
ll be
poisoning your WrestleMania viewing experience.

Next is Pete Rose, who is probably one of the greatest
baseball players o=
f all
time. However, he isn't a wrestler. He's an athlete
who is desperately
trying to remain in the limelight and rebuild his
image. Remember folks,=
 this
is the man that was banned from baseball for gambling,
and was also sente=
nced
to prison for tax evasion. THAT'S a role model for
today's wrestling fan=
s.
Stay the hell out of my wrestling arena Pete, and work
on getting yoursel=
f
into Cooperstown.

Gennifer Flowers. The WWF has definitely hit a new low
with this one. W=
ords
can not describe who repugnant (look it up, kiddies) I
find her presence =
at
the biggest wrestling event of the year to be. GO
AWAY!

You can't really blame Vince McMahon for this, after
all he is just follo=
wing
what YOU FANS want him to do. You want awful
celebrities to appear at th=
e
event that MADE pro wrestling the hot item it is today.
 You refuse to si=
t
still and enjoy the grace that is a well-worked,
scientific wrestling mat=
ch.
Instead of showing fans what they should see, McMahon
is simply catering =
to
the lowest common denominator. And of course that
means money.

Oh, and a special note to PWHHartFan, PICK YOUR OWN
FIGHTS! STOP ATTACHI=
NG
YOURSELF TO ME!!! I will say what I want about who I
want, and I don't w=
ant
you trying to improve your own name by associating with
me. You aren't g=
ood
enough to be associated with me, so Alex, get your own
life.

Seeya in 7,

Tom
