THE NIGHT OF A 1000 PUNCHES
LOUISVILLE--Roddy Piper came to the Louisville Gardens,
Sting wrestled
Diamond Dallas Page and we saw who was the real giant
of the WCW all
on Nitro tonight.
Roddy Piper took on Randy Savage in Piper's first one
on one match for
Nitro. The end saw Giant, Piper and Sting standing tall
in the ring.
Sting took his belt and a lot on the line into the ring
to take on
Diamond Dallas Page. The back and forth match was ended
with a
scorpion death drop by Sting on Page. The two men
hugged after the
match.
Nash and Giant, who was the real "giant" of the WCW?
Well, it all came
to a clash tonight on Nitro. Well, the match was
quickly changed to a
handicapped match when Hollywood Hogan asked to take
part. Giant was
able to get the win after the Disciple interfered. The
Disciple
couldn't hit his apocalypse on Giant, and Giant replied
with a
chokeslam on WCW head, Eric Bischoff.
On Raw, from Tucson, AZ, Mike Tyson made his last
appearance on RAW
before Wrestlemania. He had no influence in the night
that saw Steve
Austin battle Rocky Maivia, Kane set afire a WWF crew
member and
Sable's dress being ripped apart.
Full RAW and Nitro results are below.

| HOUGHTS FROM FANS
>>Ron<<
>>sunderland@pldi.net<<
I have been watching and reading all the letters in
the Living
Legend over the last couple of weeks. You know the
ones, one
praising the WCW while it slams the WWF. The next one
making the WWF
sound like Mount Olympus, and McMahon is Zeus
himself. The next one
putting Bischoff on a pedestal above all others. I've
got one thing
to say: WHO CARES?
=20
So you watch WCW. So do I. At the moment, I feel like
WCW is ahead
of the WWF. Now, I know this will probably get me
another ten nasty
e-mails from SamJerry, but WHO CARES?
=20
I have my own opinions, and so does SamJerry, and
everyone else who
reads the Living Legend. It boils down to one thing,
everyone has
their own opinions. If they didn't this would be a
pretty damn
boring world.
=20
All I really want to say is to all those people who
think their
opinion is the only that is right: get a life. Don't
try to force
feed your opinions to the rest of us, we have our
own. Enjoy this
business for what it is, entertainment.
>>Lord<<
>>nimble@mnsi.net<<
Well, I totally disagree with John from yesterday's
newsletter. I
look forward to the pay per views, and I only think
of Raws and
Nitros as time passes leading up to a PPV. I mean
your never going
to see a match on TV like ones you'll see on a PPV.
They are totally
different. And if your a real fan, you'll get a whole
crew over your
place and order the PPV. Plus its a lot more exciting
watching
wrestling with a bunch of friends then alone.

/\/\/\FINAL THOUGHTS/\/\/\
The server has been down all day. I have Elizabeth's
page done, and I
could not upload it. I tried all day, and it did not
work. Webcom
services have been up and down all day, and they are
what i need to
get that stuff to you.
I meant to phrase the question yesterday "wrestler" and
many people
pointed that out. Yes, Jenny McCarthy was also next to
Shawn Michaels.
Also, I made a mistake in stating that Taz was the ECW
TV champ. Yes,
he lost the belt to Bam Bam Bigelow a few weeks back.
I would like to think that I am now the highest
subscription based
wrestling newsletter out there. I don't like to reveal
my numbers, but
with the Bagpipe closed, I think I am the new number
one. Also, I will
be joining another newsletter soon. The combination
will give us
plenty of space between one and two. Who is two?
One last comment. You can write you viewer thoughts,
but remember that
it might not make it in. Space is always there, but
what keeps out 95%
of the articles is the grammar and spelling mistakes. I
have time to
make some corrections, but when the mistakes are too
numerable, I will
just ignore your piece. Take the time to edit the
piece, and it will
make it in.
