Has anyone been a victim of spamming only to be blamed for being the one sending the spam? My provider says they have gotten several reports that I have been spamming other people and I know I haven't. Has anyone had a similar situation? It seems that as a result of someone elses actions, I have been barred from being able to post to several newsgroups. I have certainly replied to those who spam me to tell them to take me off their mailing lists, but I certainly do not spam other people. Is it possible that when you reply to the messages that someone can then use your e-mail address to get away with the crime. So, far I have received messages from people claiming I spammed them when I didn't do it.
