Your proposed newsgroup:
1. Has a bad name. There is no az.fan hierarchy. Since the alt.fan
hierarchy is such a disaster, I don't think we really want one.
2. Is too narrow. We don't even have a general sports newsgroup.
3. Shows no demand. Fans of the "Voice of the Suns" are not currently
    clogging any existing az groups.

I can understand wanting to show esteem and respect for Al, but this is not
the way.

Proposals for alt.suns-boy.al-mccoy.shazam.shazam.shazam will also be opposed.

Later,
Jeff
