For all concerned in the debate about az.sf.fandom -

Take all comments coming from Woody with a grain of salt the size of a
small house. Information that I have received this morning from 3
different sources indicate that his actions and verbal assault have
NOTHING to do with the validity or usefullness of this group, but rather
a personal grudge he has decided to hold against me. Woody has already
made himself a reputation in USENET for being an agitator and a
troublemaker, and his actions on a local level are giving many, many
people cause for concern. And this time, people are telling the back story
because they think he's gone too far...

... and now, a personal note ...

Woody, in all the problems you have had on the net I've been one of the
few locals that had any kind words for you, even defended you to some
extent (and there are people that will confirm that). Now you pull a
bone-headed stunt like this and try to mess up something
that will benefit a lot of people. I'm really sorry to see that you really
are the narrow-minded, back-stabbing person that so many people in this
town think you are.. I really thought I had seen you in a better light
than that.. just goes to show how wrong I can be...

Not that I (or anyone else) expect you to give a damn about it...
