A workaround is to use a IP forwarding service like pobox. If your IP changes,
you need only update your pobox account and people will still be able to reach
your email/web servers at the same address.

I have a wireless router that automatically updates DDNS (dyndyn.org) so I can
always reach my home computer @ <myname>.getmyip.com. For private use, the
DDNS entry costs nothing.
